Crisis Stabilization

Crisis Stabilization Services assists individuals with acute crisis situations.  This service provides the individual with assistance through counseling, psychiatric care, therapeutic training/classes, support and rehabilitation in order to stabilize individuals and help them to manage symptoms and daily stressors.  Individuals are eligible for crisis stabilization if they meet one of the following:

They are experiencing a marked deduction in psychiatric, adaptive or behavioral functioning

They are experiencing extreme increase in emotional distress,

The individual needs continuous intervention to maintain stability

The individual is causing harm to self or others

Individuals must also be at risk of at least one of the following:

Psychiatric hospitalization, Disruption of community status or causing harm to self or others
