    Skill building services are rehabilitative in nature and help individuals suffering from mental illness to acquire and maintain the greatest levels of independence possible through training in areas such as daily living skills, health and safety, appropriate behavior, use of community resources, medication management, and self-monitoring of personal health, nutrition and physical condition.

  • Outpatient Counseling

    Support Systems strives to deliver impactful emotional support through our outpatient counseling services. Our goal is to create a safe and comfortable environment where patients can openly discuss challenging topics with their counselor in a confidential manner. Our team of experienced therapists is dedicated to assisting individuals in navigating their emotional difficulties and developing healthy coping mechanisms. Through our services, clients can enhance their life skills and improve their ability to handle life's demands effectively.

  • Psychosocial Rehabilitation (Roanoke)

    The Psychosocial Rehabilitation program provides skill training, support, and encouragement to indivdiuals diagnosed with mental health disorders and intellectual delays in order to increase independent living skills and social skills through a day treatment atmosphere. The VIP ZONE participates in many beneficial and exciting activites, such as: cooking, cleaning, field trips, shopping, playing games, gardening, arts/crafts, group therapy and more. VIP meets Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

  • Crisis Stabilization

    Crisis Stabilization Services assist individuals with acute crisis situations. This service provides the individual with assistance through counseling, psychiatric care, therapeutic training/classes, support and rehabilitation in order to stabilize individuals and help them to manage symptoms and daily stressors.

  • Substance Abuse Case Management

    Support Systems is dedicated to aiding individuals with mental illness who are currently also dealing with substance abuse issues. Our mission is to empower all individuals to lead more fulfilling lives and become positive contributors to the community.

  • Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program

    The Support Systems substance abuse intensive outpatient program is designed to address negative patterns of substance use, co-occurring disorders, and behaviors that cause difficulties with daily living activities and the ability to live independently in the community. We provide clinical services, independent living skills, family therapy, creative therapies, holistic therapies, group therapy, and ongoing education through the provision of a structured program of skilled treatment services for adults.

  • Project Support Non-Profit Emergency Assistance

    Project Support is a non-profit founded by the owner of Support Systems, Inc. that offers financial support to vulnerable populations who are unable to receive assistance through insurance and other financial resources. Project Support was created to benefit individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness who do not qualify for insurance in order to help meet their needs in emergency situations or for needed treatments they cannot afford.

  • Payee Services through Project Support

    Project Support offers Payee services to individuals who need assistance with managing their monthly social security checks. Payee services are services that allow Project Support to receive your monthly social security disability check and assist with paying all your monthly bills and expenses. Our payee representative will ensure that individuals needs are met including housing, food, transportation, etc. and then divide whats left into weekly spending checks to cover incidentals and things they might want to purchase. Project Support is committed to providing payee services honestly, openly and with dignity.
